BLK RVA

BLK RVA is a brand housed underneath the Richmond Region Tourism Foundation. The goal of the brand is to promote the black experience in the Richmond Region, highlight black-owned businesses, and promote travel to the Richmond Region. I have been fortunate enough to get to create a handful of pieces for BLK RVA since the marketing was brought in-house within Richmond Region Tourism. Designing for this particular brand has been a challenge because I am not a part of the target demographic. It has been an amazing experience to work with those spearheading BLK RVA to learn more and understand what the black traveler is looking for in their experience. As of January 2025, the display ads below have been some of our top-performing to date!
